Just in time for the start of the school year, the Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) is now accepting pre-orders for the 2019-2020 Arkansas School Laws Annotated publication. The publication compiles all state laws affecting K-12 education and includes updates from the last legislative session. According to the ASBA, in 2019, the General Assembly passed over 100 Acts that directly impact K-12 education, including those broader in scope concerning construction, bidding, transportation, and employee relations. I’ve used the publication for years, and it’s a great tool for administrators, educators, school board members, attorneys, and even parents.
